Job Posting: Research Librarian @ University of Denver

The University of Denver is looking for an energetic, forward-thinking person to join our team as our newest Research Librarian!

If you are interested in having a key role in pioneering new approaches to patron service, legal research instruction, and faculty research work at an R-1 institution, our small and highly collaborative team may be just the right fit.

This position also includes the chance to teach in a unique, well-supported, and phenomenally popular Certificate in Legal Research program along with credit-bearing legal research classes developed specifically to support the needs of our practice-oriented law students. Last fall alone, 199 1L students graduated from our basic certificate program – an all-time high. We hope the candidates who apply bring strong voices and new ideas to the table as we work to shepherd this program into its next phase, including a focus on keeping the workload manageable for our teaching team now that demand is so high.

What’s more, this search welcomes applications from dual-degreed candidates, as well as JD-holding candidates who are currently enrolled in an ALA-accredited MLS program or are willing to commit to doing so at the University of Denver once they are eligible for tuition remission. For more specifics, please see the job posting language. And, of course, you get to live with the mountains in your backyard in one of America’s most beautiful states.

If this is you, please apply! The full job posting is available through the AALL Career Center at https://careers.aallnet.org/jobs/view/research-librarian/78600783/ or via Jobs@DU at https://jobs.du.edu/en-us/job/498044/research-librarian-westminster-law-library.
