The University of Colorado Law School’s William A. Wise Law Library is seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, and service-driven individual to serve as the Metadata Librarian to oversee metadata creation and provide access to the library’s diverse collection of materials. The Metadata Librarian is responsible for managing catalog metadata, including production and quality assurance; analyzing and executing bibliographic record loads into the catalog; overseeing authority control processing; monitoring and managing outsourced contract cataloging; and supervising the Metadata Services Assistant. The Metadata Librarian also collaborates on digital projects by creating, implementing, and maintaining digital metadata policies and procedures.
